OUR MISSION: To help Christians and spiritual seekers become Gospel-driven followers of Christ.

OUR VISION:
To build a network of Gospel-driven communities in which...
...strugglers become hopeful...
...skeptics are attracted to Christ...
...religious people lose their religion...
...and Gospel-driven people become servants for the benefit of strugglers, skeptics, and religious people.

CONNECTING AT RIVERSIDE / "LIFE TOGETHER"

"And they devoted themselves to the apostles' teaching and fellowship, to the breaking of bread and prayer...and all who believed were together and had all things in common." (Acts 4:42-44)

House Groups

The purpose of House Groups at Riverside is to experience the Gospel in an intimate setting through worship, Bible study, friendship-building, prayer and service.  House Groups are basic, more intimate Christian communities.  At Riverside, we believe that discipleship, evangelism and mutual encouragement are best carried out in a smaller group context.  House Groups are gatherings of about 12 people meeting in homes, apartments, and restaurants throughout the Webster and St. Louis area during the week.  Being part of a House Group will enable you to know God and experience His presence, develop meaningful friendships, be nurtured in your faith, and be equipped and released for God's work in the world.  Groups are open to all ages (intergenerational)-families, singles, and couples.  There are also men's and women's groups available.

Gospel U.

Gospel U. is Riverside’s foundational adult spiritual formation course.  The purpose of Gospel U. is to take adults “further up and further in” to a whole life that is saturated by this thing Christians call the Gospel. Subjects that are explored in a well-planned, interactive setting, include bringing the Gospel from the head to the heart, the good questions skeptics ask, essential Christian doctrine, bringing the Gospel into relationships, and healing from the wounds and distortions of sin by “preaching the Gospel to yourself every day.” For more info on Gospel U. and how you can get involved, email phil@riversidestl.org.

Parties

One of the unique and exciting things about our church is its sense of community. Our people love being together just to enjoy friendships, laugh, and play!  And we love to use these light-hearted venues as opportunities to welcome new people into the life of our church family.  For this reason we have regular church-wide "fun events" - Super Bowl parties, sports outings, retreats, holiday parties, etc.  In addition there are always special events going on for men to enjoy together with each other (retreats, ski trips, pickup basketball, softball teams, etc.) and also for the gals (movie nights, retreats, etc.).
