OUR MISSION: To help Christians and spiritual seekers become Gospel-driven followers of Christ.

OUR VISION:
To build a network of Gospel-driven communities in which...
...strugglers become hopeful...
...skeptics are attracted to Christ...
...religious people lose their religion...
...and Gospel-driven people become servants for the benefit of strugglers, skeptics, and religious people.

Our heritage

Our roots trace back to the 16th and 17th century Reformation when people like Martin Luther, John Calvin, John Knox, and others led the church in recovering biblical Christianity. Their passion was a faith that emphasized salvation by grace through faith in Jesus alone, the Divine inspiration of the Old and New Testaments, and the sovereign majesty of God.

Our affiliations

Our church was born in November, 2001 when Greentree Community Church sent out a group of sixty people to start a new congregation. Since that time, Riverside has grown into a thriving congregation of 500+ people, and has recently begun discussion about how we, too, can participate in the launching of future, like-minded churches in and beyond the St Louis area.

We are also part of the Evangelical Presbyterian Church (EPC). The EPC is unique in that its affiliated congregations make a self-conscious attempt to balance essential and non-essential matters within a confessional heritage. We are unified in our commitment to the essentials of the historic faith taught in the Bible (to view the EPC "essentials," click here), but we allow liberty of conscience on those matters which are not so plain in or central to the Bible’s teaching.  For more info about the Evangelical Presbyterian Church, please visit the EPC website or call our office at 314.918.9922.
