Riverside is Moving

Riverside is moving their worship service is moving to Hixson NEXT Sunday, October 5.  The school is now air-conditioned so we are looking forward to not having to move each summer and we are hoping to be there for a very long time.  In case you have never been to Hixson, it is the school right next door to the baseball fields behind the Rec Center.  There is parking on the west and north side of the building and back by the football field.  If you have any questions call the office at 314-908-9922 or email mary@riversidestl.org.  See you at Hixson!

Flood Relief

A list is being compiled to help WG Flood Victims by donating labor, new/like-new appliances, furnishings, etc.  Email contact info and how you can help to Jennifer at j_kirkton@yahoo.com or Zach @ hcazdoow@gmail.com.  They will follow up with you as specific needs become known.  The most pressing need is money to rent dumpsters to begin the removal process.  Monetary donations can be made out to:  Webster Groves Flood Victims c/o US Bank, 110 West Lockwood, Webster Groves, MO. 63119.  

Men’s Retreat

Riverside’s First Men’s Retreat is October 10th and 11th at Trout Lodge.  Fliers are available; please sign up with Mary Schawacker ASAP.  We will be talking about mission, why men don’t generally like church, and hanging out.  Activities such as fishing, firing guns, basketball, and doing nothing will be available also...  

The Riverside Gallery

The Riverside Gallery is helping to promote the local Art Gallery Tour in November, with a Preview Show Friday October 3rd from 7:00-10:00.  There will be live music, 26 artists – from jewelers to ceramics to oil painting.  Please join us for an enjoyable evening with several local artists!  The Riverside Gallery exists to promote local art and artists.  God is in all things, and has been using artists for thousands of years to re-imagine the world – both its redemption and its darkness.  
 

Clean Up Day at Steger

The Steger School Fall Cleanup is October 25 from 9am until 12noon.  Please join us to help in our continuing effort to serve our community!  Activities may include mulching, planting, pruning, and creek cleanup.  You are encouraged to bring yard tools, but please label them with your name! Be sure and save the date so we can continue to bless the school where we held Sunday services for so long.    

Manna Moms Care Meals
